Driffield cemetery records

Postby blackburn » Sat Sep 20, 2014 4:39 pm

I have a great-great uncle, Anthony Swaits born 1820 died Q1 1871 in Driffield and was probably buried in Driffield cemetery. His wife, Mary died in 1882 also in Driffield. The family addresses in 1861, Westgate, 1871 Shady Lane and 1881 13 Eastgate North.
Anthony Swaits (sometimes Swaites) is the only family member of that generation whose grave I have so far been unable to locate, he having moved away from the family centre of Low Bentham.
Is there anyone who would check the burial register for the Swaits name please?
It is possible they were buried separately since Mary was a widow (Mary Wilson) when she married Anthony at Kirkburn, St. Mary in 1855.
