Places of interest

Post by romric » Mon Jul 07, 2008 10:21 pm

As a user of the forum living in Lincolnshire and visiting the Driffield area several times a year, usually with grandkids, I would be interested in knowing about any local places of interest, ie; animal farms, kids adventure places, eateries, or any place worth a visit, Not including a certain fish shop!
There may be many like me who live out of the area who would be interested in the local amenities and a reccommendation from anyone local would carry weight.
Any thoughts on this?

Hi, you could try for starters: Burnby Hall at Pocklington, the lilies are fabulous at this time of year and plenty of fish that you can feed - Cruckley animal farm at Foston - Burton Agnes Hall - Driffield Show (16 July) - Eden Camp near Malton (2nd World War stuff) - plenty of eateries in Driffield - Marco Polo, Indian, Chinese. I'm sure others will add more!
