Nafferton School

Post by Linda » Sun Aug 19, 2001 4:58 pm

I attended Nafferton C of E School from 1946 - 1949. My name at that time was Linda Farey. The head teachers were Mr. & Mrs. Jones. Were YOU there at that time?

Both my wife and I were at Nafferton school at the same time as you.
My name is Philip Davison and my wife is Brenda (nee Fawcett). I lived in High Street and I think you did also- between the Hara's and Baker's. The school is still there and has just closed - recently it has been used as a private school but it now going to be converted for residential use.

Were there any Wacketts at this school? I have been told that there were two or three schools in Nafferton and it depended on where you lived in the village as to which school you attended. I believe the Wacketts lived in Middle Street.
