Happy St George's Day, everyone. Fly the flag, enjoy a traditional English roast dinner and send a donation to charity in the name of St George and England.

Or just get sloshed and have fun.

I did both, by the way. I didn't vomit though - that was reserved for the thoughts of John Prescotts sweaty belly and his secretary. Two jags became two shags.

Sorry, got to run again.................. bleughhh!

I would like to see people being patriotic this year on St George's day - no plook - that doesn't mean wearing b***e!!! I mean promoting St George and being proud of their English heritage. Why do we make such a deal of St Patrick's? We're not Irish - it must be the Guinness! Well , we have John Smith's extra smooth!

Yo People,

John Smiths ?!! Ewwwww, haven't drunk that stuff since I heaved my rig up over it one night. Anyway, real ales are much better.

Yo,

Do you mean East Yorkshire or all the original county of Yorkshire ?! People round here seem to be a bit funny about anybody or anything that hails from West Yorkshire !!

As Dee said on this forum two years ago yesterday - 'Happy St George's Day, everyone. Fly the flag, enjoy a traditional English roast dinner and send a donation to charity in the name of St George and England.Or just get sloshed and have fun.'

Happy St George's Day!
