| my name is rob and im researching my wolds family history i have a fair amount of info but i am requiring info on the following families if anyone is interested just mail me any questions or answers you may have i am related directly to the following families - collinson maternal,sowersby - paternal,haystead,levitt,wilson,penrose,addison,skelton amongst others since i am local to the wolds area any local info and photgraphs etc can be picked up by hand if required many thanks rob |

| Hi Rob, I am researching the name Collinson G.Grandmother Lucy Collinson was born 14 October 1882 Hunmanby Yorkshire. Her father Stephenson Collinson b.1842 Driffield. married Isabella Wilson-Nicholson b. 1855 Welton. Stephenson Collinson father is John Collinson b. 1820 Bridlington. mother Mary Stephenson b. 1818 Bempton, they married Nov 1872 Bridlington. In 1887 the Collinson family came to Australia on board the ship "Bulimba" Stephenson age 44, Isabella age 32, Lucy age 4, Arthur age 2 Isabella was born in Australia in 1895. |

| Hi Rob, John Henry George Collinson and his brother Herbert Joseph Collinson Emigrated to Australia between 1891 and 1900. Parents George and Maria Collinson. Herbert settled in Ayr North Queensland, there is lagoon named after him at Ayr. John Henry Collinson served with Australia Imperial Army. Next of kin is George Collinson, Middle st. Driffield Yorkshire.Herbert Collinson also served in the Australia Army. Herbert Joseph married Laura Josephine Buck 1907. Children George Joseph b.1908, George b. 1910, Eleanor May b.1912, Arthur b. 1913, Laura b. 1914, Ethel Lillian b. 1924 she served in WW2 with the Australia Army.I am still finding out more about this family. | rocky any info i can get off you and vice versa would be great if you fancy mailing me info or even ringing me give me a shout i can tell you this much nearly all the collinsons on the east coast from scarborough to beverley are related including your side of our family in australia ive divided up our family into four parts for easy working out they are the bridlington and australian collinson the muston,wetherby and driffield collinsons these four family parts are the children of charles and rebbecca your side is from john collinson born 1819 wold newton my side is from driffield where i live my ggg grandfather skelton is johns brother the other two are named after alfred and wiliam another brother george i believe died without children there are three other children to find but i beleive that they died young or without children |

| hiya again rocky, i take it your either a bryant then or descended from one of lucys ten children ? id love to have a full australian collinson family tree im doing a full collinson family tree and im after every collinson child grandchild etc for my family journal and tree so if you have been contacted by anyone who is a collinson or descended from a collinson can you pass them my way id love to find all the colllinsons full stop if you want to get the collinsons of driffield family info mail me back its great to find new cousins however far away rob |

My husband is the descendant of Lucy Collinson who married Ernest Bryant on 31 Jan 1899 Nambour Qld Australia. Ernest and Lucy had 9 children. Kate Isabella b. 1899, John Henry Stephenson b.1900 Mary Annie Lousie b. 1902, Rose Kelly b. 1904, Dorothy Ruth b.1906, Mabel Fanny b.1908 (my Husband's gmother) Edward Ernest b. 1910, Eva Galdy b. 1914, Arthur Thomas b. 1916. i take it that you have a good idea of the collinson family tree then ? im still local to the area where all the collinsons grew up and its great to find new relations around the world do you have any of the family trees of all the bryant children and is there any possibility of you sending your full family via e mail id love to put your full family on our family tree can you tell me any else about the collinson and bryant tree in australia id love to get all the info i can for the family journal have you got any photos of the bryant and collinson family in australia i have two photos recently aquired of lucys uncle george and lucys grandfather and granmother funny that lucys uncle looks so much like my great uncle even though they are three generations apart and from different lines of our family if you have anymore info photos id love to have them and any help i can give you consider it done after all you are family however distant many reagrds rob |
