Peter 6, thanks for the info on the Collinson family however, your info has thrown up a quandary. Please, if it is possible could you find out whether William born 1821, George 1825 and Harriet born 1823, all died as I am hitting a brick wall every time I look for them. Also to all Collinsons or relations within the wolds please contact me through this forum as I am trying to collate all the descendants of Charles Collinson and Rebecca Skelton, it is for a Collinson family journal. Photos, stories anecdotes all welcome id love to have every known descendant of the Collinsons. Many thanks to all those who have contacted me already, the rest of you get mailing thanks Rob ps please mail if your family name is Barr or Cooper thanks

Hi Rob,

With reference to your question: 'the impossible I can do, miracles take a little longer'

In the meantime, I thought you would be interested in the following:

POLICE INTELLIGENCE.- (Before Capt. Brooksbank and C. Sykes, Esq.) - Skelton Collinson, of Bainton, was summond for refusing to give up a cottage, after receiving due notice to do so. Order made for taking forcible possession.
